PwD (Persons with Disabilities / Divyang) candidates ke liye sarkari naukri me 4% reservation hota hai — har department me alag posts PwD ke liye identified hoti hain. Central aur state dono me PwD quota hai, jisme competition general se bahut kam hota hai.
1PwD reservation
- Central jobs — 4% horizontal reservation (VI, HI, OH, ID/MD categories) — SSC, Banking, Railway, UPSC me
- State jobs — har state me 3-4% PwD quota — clerk, teacher, junior assistant posts me
- Categories — VI (Visually Impaired), HI (Hearing Impaired), OH (Orthopedically Handicapped), ID (Intellectual Disability)/MD (Multiple Disabilities)
2Eligible posts
Har notification me PwD ke liye suitable posts ki list hoti hai — clerk, junior assistant, teacher, accountant, computer operator jaise desk jobs zyada suitable hote hain. Field jobs (police constable) me PwD eligibility kam hoti hai — notification check karo.
3Age relaxation & benefits
- General PwD ko 10 saal, OBC PwD ko 13 saal, SC/ST PwD ko 15 saal tak age relaxation (central norms)
- Application fee me relaxation ya zero fee kai exams me
- Scribe facility — VI aur kuch OH candidates ko scribe (writer) allowed, extra time bhi milta hai exam me
- Posting me preference — home district ya accessible posting ki koshish hoti hai
4Documents
- Disability certificate (40%+ disability) — medical board se, specific format (central/state)
- UDID card (Unique Disability ID) — ab kai jagah mandatory
- Education certificates + category certificate (agar applicable)
- Scribe declaration (agar scribe use karna hai)
5Selection process
Written exam (scribe + extra time ke saath) + document verification + medical — PwD quota ka cutoff general se kam hota hai.
6Preparation tips
- Scribe pehle arrange karo — scribe ka education qualification notification me di hoti hai (tumse kam honi chahiye)
- Extra time ka use — mock tests me extra time ke saath practice karo
- Desk job posts target karo — clerk, assistant, accountant — physical demand kam
- Multiple departments — ek hi certificate se kai jagah eligible
7Common mistakes
- Disability percentage 40% se kam — PwD quota ke liye 40%+ chahiye
- Old certificate — UDID ab preferred hai, purana certificate renew karwa lo
- Scribe last minute pe dhundna — pehle se arrange karo, declaration ready rakho
